I have been an overweight endurance athlete my entire life. 6 years ago I finally figured it out and have successfully maintained a 45 pound weight loss since that time. See my photos.
I am registered at the National Weight Control Registry as a successful weight loser. Only 20% of overweight individuals are successful at long-term weight loss, so this is a significant accomplishment.
I was among 150 trainers selected from a nationwide pool to work with WeightWatchers and Active.com in their Momentum Walk-it Challenge. As the Orange County Team Leader, I helped my team reach their weight loss goals.
I am a USAT Level 1 coach and a Sport Nutrition Consultant (AFPA). I am also a lawyer and a writer. I coach because I want to help people achieve their goals.
I am more like you than anyone you will find at a commercial weight loss program.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
FOR TRIATHLETES

If you aren't serous about weight loss, don't hire me.
I invest personally in all of my clients and more than anything I
want you to succeed. I want clients that are so fed-up with
themselves that they can't stand being fat another day.
My weigh management programs are like WeightWatchers on
steroids. Hiring me is only the beginning of a terrific (as in really
hard but also exciting) task of losing weight and establishing your
power over food. There is homework to do and I may send you to
other professional that help you; a physical therapist if injury in
interfering with your training, a clinic that does accurate body
composition testing and other as needed. In short, you will be
busy!
I do not pretend to be a nutritionist. What I offer is the unique
perspective of someone that has succeeded where most fail and I
share what I have learned from my own journey and from those
that I work with. I read lost of research and steer away from
supplements and hype. I you succeed with normal food.

want to learn the nuts and bolts of what it takes to change your
relationship with food, you have come to the right place.

Personal Coaching Services:
Ten Pound Triathlon:
A comprehensive program designed to get you to your next
starting line10 pounds lighter than you are now. You will be give
the tools you need to get and stay motivated so you can happily
consume fewer calories the rest of your life.
This plan provides a custom training plan built around your
goals, needs and limitations, functional strength plan designed
by a physical therapist, weekly meetings and homework,
unlimited emails, accountability, strategies for your particular
difficulties, group workout opportunities (for local residents) and
more. Fees start at $250 monthly.
Weight Management:
This is the same as the Ten Pound Triathlon program but
without the training plan. This is ideal for athletes that have their
own plan and just want help with weight loss. Starts at $150
monthly.
Consultations:
Have particular questions or concerns? Have you read the book
and just need some pointers for your circumstances?
Consultations (by phone, in person or email) are perfect for
athletes that have questions but don't want a complete plan.
$40 per session (up to an hour).
