Thank you so much for all your help in  training me for my first 1/2 ironman.  In the past I had run 1/2
marathons, 10k's and sprint triathlons.  I stayed away from the longer tri races because the swim was
something that I just endured, struggled through and survived.  I  would get out of the water with arms like
noodles totally worn out from muscling my way through.  Your help with swim technique has completely
changed the way I swim.  I was totally comfortable and had a great river swim at Barb's race. Not only did I
have a good swim time, 4 minutes faster then the goal time I had set for myself,  but also came out feeling
strong and ready to bike.  I could not have done this without your coaching.  The videos you took of me
underwater and the videos you sent of others with proper swim form were a great tool for really
understanding what I needed to correct.

The training plan you provided for me to train all three aspects running, biking and swimming got me right
where I needed to be on race day. It was a great tool,  I knew exactly what I would be doing each week and
could move workouts around within the week to fit my time constraints.   I can't thank you enough,  not only  
for your coaching but also your encouragement and the way you took such a personal interest in making
sure I was prepared to be successful on race day.

"I am very glad I hired Ingrid as my triathlon coach.  I only had 8 weeks before my first half ironman so I
wasn't sure what to expect.  It was an intense program of training along with a strong focus on weight loss.  I
felt more prepared as the final week approached than I expected.  She taught me more than just the
training, including planning, fueling and preparing mentally.  I asked her to prepare a marathon training
program for me and next she will prepare my ironman training program.  

A key part of my training focused on weight loss.  Ingrid asked that I get a baseline and follow-up body
composition (7 site skinfold) to measure the results over a 3 month period.  I was shocked at the success
over such a short time frame:  18 lb overall weight loss, 2% reduction of body fat, 8 lb fat weight loss, 4.5
inch loss around waist and 3 point drop in my BMI.
